Allen Ku, Chairman of Adesso Inc., a U.S.-based technology company, was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by Mingxin University of Science and Technology in Taiwan.



On December 2nd, Minghsin University of Science and Technology hosted the "2022 Engineering Science and Technology Application Symposium," which also featured the "111th Academic Year Outstanding Alumni Awards Ceremony" during the opening ceremony. The ceremony recognized outstanding alumni of the university. Among the awardees was Allen Ku, the Chairman of Adesso Technology (ADESSO), who received the "Outstanding Alumni Award" presented by President Liu Guowei. This award acknowledged his remarkable achievements in business, service, and contributions to society. He also shared his life experiences with fellow alumni, imparting his success story.

Ku, who started his entrepreneurial journey in the United States, was recognized as the 30th Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurial Role Model in 2021 and the 2022 Outstanding Asian American Engineer. He emphasized the importance of social responsibility after achieving success in his career and recovering from a serious illness. He founded a foundation dedicated to education, environmental protection, and social safety, inspiring younger students to make the most of their time and enrich themselves.。
