Diamond Bar Lunar New Year Carnival Kicks Off with Joy

On February 24th, the lively "2024 Diamond Bar Lunar New Year Carnival," organized by the Diamond Bar Chinese American Association (DBCAA) and co-sponsored by the Diamond Bar Chinese School and the Parents Association of the Diamond Bar Chinese School, commenced with great fanfare! Over 500 Diamond Bar residents, students, parents, business, and community figures attended, with the venue adorned with lights and decorations, and filled with songs and dances, creating an extraordinary atmosphere.

On that day, the president of the Diamond Bar Chinese American Association, Gu Shaolun, donated $10,000 on behalf of the association to Diamond Bar High School. Additionally, on behalf of Huamei New Creation (Adesso Nonprofit Foundation), a donation of $10,000 was made to the Chinese Association, and TRK Customs Service Inc. /Theresa Lee donated $6,000 to the Chinese Association.

President Gu Shaolun expressed his great pleasure at the large turnout for our annual Lunar New Year Carnival, with approximately over 500 attendees. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude for the sponsorship and support from our community's Chinese businesses and organizations, including Adesso, AIG, ACG Funding, Zhang Qing CPA Firm (Eric Zhang), TACF, Huaxing Insurance, Jiaxin Wealth Management, Immigration Pass, Kayla Grand Restaurant, and more than 20 other community businesses and organizations participating in our event. He also extended sincere thanks for the support and encouragement from members of Congress, the Los Angeles County Supervisor, community leaders, and elected officials who took the time to attend.

During the event, the Huamei New Creation Center (Adesso Nonprofit Foundation) made its first public appearance. According to reports, the Huamei New Creation Center is a nonprofit organization established by Gu Shaolun, chairman of Taiwan's entrepreneurial model "Adesso Inc.," in Los Angeles, USA. The main purpose of its establishment is to combine various resources from the local Chinese American accountant association, lawyers, physicians, banking and finance sectors, construction, real estate, hotel and tourism industry, distributors, outstanding entrepreneurs, educational scholars, and local governments in the United States to provide localized consulting and services for enterprises developing in the United States.

Also in attendance at the event were US Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, representing California Senator Bob Archuleta, representatives of California Senator Josh Newman, representatives of California Assemblywoman Lisa Calderon, representatives of Los Angeles County Supervisor Solis, as well as Diamond Bar Mayor Stan Liu, Vice Mayor, Councilors Luth Low, Andrew Chou, Walnut City Councilor Wu Lilun, Walnut Valley Water District Chairman Theresa Lee, President of the North American Chinese Accountants Association Zhang Qing, Diamond Bar High School Principal David Hong, President of Huaxing Insurance Zhang Guoxing, School District Commissioner Chairman Hellen Hall, Superintendent Robert Taylor, former Walnut Mayor Su Wang Xiulan, Chair of The Country Committee Charlie Zhang, and CEO of Huamei New Creation Wang Kangxi, among others.
